It feels like there’s been a slow start to this SXSW season but now the party announcements are rapidly accumulating in our inboxes. Here are a few of the notable ones that have come across this week.

Update: I’ve been adding notable parties to this post as they crop up.

Another entry from Culture Collide came in today. StubHub presents Future Islands, Portugal the Man, Charles Bradley, Ms Mr and more. RSVP.

Spotify announced the lineup for their party featuring everyone from Ryan Bingham and Wale to up and coming artists like Misterwives and Børns. RSVP.

Flood Magazine will be taking over Cedar St. with an insane lineup that includes Spoon, Best Coast, Twin Shadow, the Ting Tings and Run the Jewels. It’s unclear at this point which of those artists will be playing day shows (open to the public) vs. night shows (restricted to SXSW credential holders) and lines for the day parties will certainly long but it certainly seems worth getting on the Floodfest list.

Some of the best lineups come from the nice folks at Culture Collide whose Rainey St. parties include the previously announced Lagunitas Couch Trippin’ event with Charles Bradley, Delta Spirit and NPR Tiny Desk Concert winner Fantastic Negrito (RSVP). This week they added the Dr. Martens at SXSW event which includes Gang of Four, Only Real and Prince Rama. RSVP. Culture Collide promises a huge presence over five days so expect a few more announcements over the next couple days. Keep an eye on their SXSW site for more details.

The Universal Music Group hasn’t released their lineup yet, but they did put the RSVP up for their parties at the Palm Door and their lineups tend to be good.

The IFC Fairgrounds which presents music in a carnival atmosphere released the RSVP for this year’s event and the lineup includes Odesza, Priory, X Ambassadors and Jukebox the Ghost.

A perennial fave for locals the Bloodshot Records Day Party at Yard Dog Gallery announced this year’s lineup which includes Bobby Bare Jr. and JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound. This will be the 20th anniversary for the party and it’s scheduled to go down on Friday, March 20 from noon to 6 p.m.
