Pan Americana Festival announced Celso Piña will no longer headline fest.

The Pan Americana Festival has announced on their Facebook page that “unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control, Celso Piña will not be able to join us tonight.”

The festival, which will take place at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center rain or shine, has replaced Piña with Austin Latin band El Tule.

So what happened when El Tule found out they were now closing the night? The band posted their enthusiastic reaction on Instagram at El_Tule.

Mexican electro-rockers Kinky are still scheduled to close out the festival on Saturday. Check out the full line-up here, and read the cancellation news in Spanish from our partners at ¡Ahora Sí!
