The fast-rising ride of modern folk-rock band Wild Child reached another milestone as the band announced Tuesday afternoon on its Facebook page that it has signed with Nashville label Dualtone, home of prominent Americana acts the Lumineers and Shovels & Rope as well as fellow Austin act Shakey Graves.

“We are beyond excited to announce that we have joined the Dualtone Music Group family,” the band said in its Facebook post. “Look for our new record this fall.”

Wild Child made its independent debut in 2011 with the album “Pillow Talk” before moving to Austin musician Ben Kweller’s label Noise Company for 2013’s “The Runaround.” The band, fronted by Alexander Beggins and Kelsey Wilson, also includes keyboardist Evan Magers, bassist Chris D’Annunzio, drummer Drew Brunetti and cellist Sadie Wolfe.
