Mother Falcon at North Door. One of the coolest summer camps for aspiring young musicians is the Mother Falcon Music Lab, which merges orchestra and symphony instruments with the rock and pop realm — just as Mother Falcon has done in its own career. Scholarships are available through the Margaret Moser Maternal Music Fund, named for the longtime local music journalist; proceeds from this afternoon performance by the group and Music Lab students go toward that fund. $10 minimum donation. 2 p.m. 501 N. Interstate 35. ndvenue.com.
