Fort Worth soul man Leon Bridges has come a long way since serenading a couple packed C-Boys shows with simple, silky soul early this year. 2015 saw the former dishwasher skyrocketing out of South by Southwest, charming the world all summer long before returning to Austin to command a big stage performance at the Austin City Limits Festival. He kept the soul train rolling at a taping of ‘Austin City Limits’ between the two festival weekends.

Consequently, it was no surprise when tickets for radio station KGSR’s 25th Anniversary show at ACL Live featuring Bridges and George Ezra supporting Icelandic indie folk rock band Of Monsters and Men sold out almost as quickly as they went on sale. Adding extra excitement to the show, Bridges has just been booked to play “Saturday Night Live” the weekend before the show.

Occasional Austin fest-goer Ryan Gosling will host.

While there are no tickets on sale the radio station has been doing some giveaways on air at 93.3 FM.
