Tickets to this year’s Formula One Grand Prix, including the Saturday night concert by Taylor Swift, go on sale Wednesday, April 6 at 10 a.m. General admission tickets are $150 for all three days and the concert. A limited number of single-day tickets are available in the grandstands, starting at $175 for Saturday night. There are no reserved seats for the Taylor Swift concert which takes place on the venue’s Superstage on the side of the track.
Following the soggy scene at last year’s race, Formula One organizers have put a new rain policy in place:
Should it rain over two inches in the 24-hour period before the 2 p.m. start of the F1 USGP on Sunday, October 23rd, COTA will refund 105% of the value of the ticket for any fan who purchased a reserved seat on a 3-day weekend pass or a Sunday-only reserved seat by July 5, 2016. Fans will still be able to attend the race even if they receive the rain refund. There are no refunds listed for general admission tickets.
In addition, the venue has responded to last year’s shuttle debacle which found race fans waiting for hours to leave the track at the end of the night. This year, race organizers and instituted a guaranteed 55 minute maximum wait time for shuttles. If you have to wait longer, money will be refunded. More details and tickets.
