A June 24 show at Austin360 Amphitheater featuring alt-metal band Slipknot has been rescheduled for Aug. 27. Concert promoter C3 Presents announced in a press release that the change was necessary as a result of “unplanned surgery for lead singer Corey Taylor.”

Also on the bill are ’90s shock-rocker Marilyn Manson and SoCal metalcore group Of Mice and Men. The C3 statement noted that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date but made no mention of a refund option.

The Austin concert is one of 12 June dates that have been rescheduled for August as part of a nationwide tour.

On Friday, Slipknot tweeted the following photo, along with a statement from Taylor assuring fans that “I am recovering nicely, and all went well” after spinal surgery.
