Halsey coming to Erwin Center this fall, with new album due in June

Electropop singer Halsey, whose second album “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” is due out in June, will play the Erwin Center on Oct. 27, the venue announced Wednesday.

Canadian rapper PartyNextDoor and British dance-pop star Charli XCX will open the show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 12 via TexasBoxOffice.com or by phone at 512-477-6060.

Halsey, 22, first made waves in 2015 with her debut “Badlands,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart. She’ll be on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Thursday night to perform the single “Now or Never” from her new record.
