If you were disappointed that country chart-topper Luke Bryan wasn’t in this year’s lineup for the iHeartCountry Festival on Saturday at the Erwin Center, this news is for you: The singer known for his sage advice to “Drink A Beer,” “Strip It Down” and “Play It Again” is coming to the Austin360 Amphitheater on Sept. 21.
Brett Eldredge and Granger Smith will open the show. Tickets, $33-$90, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12, via austin360amphitheater.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.
No word yet on whether Bryan will have a new album out before the tour starts, though he seems due. His last one, “Kill the Lights,” topped both the country and pop charts upon its release in 2015. Earlier this year, he sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in Houston.
