On Thursday, the nice folks from National Public Radio revealed the lineup for all their affiliates’ South by Southwest events including the annual Wednesday night showcase at Stubb’s. The Stubb’s showcase will be headlined by August Greene, a new project helmed by rapper/actor/activist Common, jazz heavy Robert Glasper and hip-hop DJ, producer and rapper Karriem Riggins.

NPR just posted a sprawling 36-minute Tiny Desk Concert performance by the group, which Common calls a musical collective.  The Tiny Desk performance includes several guest appearances from powerful female artists including Brandi.
