Margo Price, Hayes Carll to team up for Hill Country Conservancy benefit

Did Margo Price’s stellar half-hour set at Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic leave you wanting more? Check out this just-announced dynamite double bill, then: Price and Austin troubadour Hayes Carll will team up for “Hill Country Nights,” a concert benefiting the Hill Country Conservancy on Sept. 7 at ACL Live.

Tickets, $40-$60 go on sale Friday, July 13, via the venue’s website.

Carll swept the 2017 Austin Music Awards on the heels of 2016’s “Lovers and Leavers,” his first album in five years. Price recently sold out three nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium in her home base of Nashville.

The Hill Country Conservancy, per its website, “marshals public and private resources to preserve the natural areas and scenic vistas, aquifers and springs, rivers and streams, working farms and ranches, and the rural heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country.”
