Our favorite rock ‘n’ roll legend/former Austinite is coming to town this fall.
On Tuesday, Robert Plant announced a string of September tour dates supporting his latest release “Carry Fire.”
The Led Zeppelin front man kicks off the limited North American leg of the tour at LouFest in St. Louis on September 8 and wraps up here in Austin on September 29. Tickets to the show at ACL Live go on sale Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. He will be joined at the Austin show by storied singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams.
Worth noting that Plant, who live in Austin while dating beloved Austin songwriter Patty Griffin, doesn’t have any dates for a month after that Austin show.
So the odds of him showing up at one of his favorite Austin watering holes like the Continental Club or the Sahara Lounge seem better than average.
