This week’s music picks: Blues on the Green finale, Ben Ballinger

Wednesday: Blues on the Green with Oh Hellos, Bidi Bidi Banda at Zilker Park. Have we already reached the end of the road for this year’s Blues on the Green run? The popular KGSR-sponsored series, which draws thousands to Zilker Park every few weeks during the summer months, has tapped a bit of an underdog for its final headlining spot: The Oh Hellos are a San Marcos folk-rock outfit led by siblings Tyler and Maggie Heath whose new album, “Eurus,” is their sixth since forming in 2011. Opening act Bidi Bidi Banda, featuring Stephanie Bergara, is well-known locally for its lively Selena tribute performances. Free, parking pass $15 + service fees. Music starts at 8 p.m. 2115 Lou Neff Road. kgsr.com.

Thursday: Ben Ballinger EP release at Cactus Cafe. One of Austin’s most promising young rock ’n’ roll singer songwriters over the past decade, Ballinger left town about a year ago, moving back to his home turf in the Pacific Northwest. It appears he missed the action here, as he’s now returned, aiming to complete a record he was working on when he left. In the meantime, he’s mined his archives to rescue a 2013 set recorded live at the Cactus, which he’s releasing as an EP. He’ll celebrate at the scene of the crime. Carson McHone opens. $10. 8:30 p.m. 2247 Guadalupe St. cactuscafe.org.

G-Eazy plays Thursday at the Austin360 Amphitheater. Suzanne Cordeiro for American-Statesman
