‘Do the Right Thing’ screening with Anya at Holy Mountain. “The Reelness,” a new music and movies series curated by Austin Mic Exchange and Weird City Hip-hop Festival co-founder Adam “P-Tek” Protextor, kicks off with the Spike Lee classic, preceded by a short set from rapidly rising emcee Anya with DJ Hardtopronounce. Protextor says he picked the movie because “its climactic scene and themes have been referenced a lot lately in the wake of the Baltimore protests.” Donations for the ACLU will be collected at the event.
